Lockbox Remittance Specialist

What You'll Do : The Lockbox Remittance Specialist handles the servicing of all commercial lockbox services, including any operational functions that may pertain to the service. This position is responsible for the accurate and timely processing and maintenance of customers lockbox deposits.

Duties & Responsibilities :

Main Function : Operating OPEX Falcon Machine for most of the day (ability to remain standing most of the day is required)

Receive and process all lockbox deposits from various commercial customers.

Sort, open and process batches of work as required for this function.

Process any corrections.

Receive and answer customers inquires in a timely manner regarding customers lockbox and research any questions that may arise from the lockbox function.

Bill each customer monthly appropriately according to the services provided.

Maintain confidentiality of customer account information; follow established policies and procedures in responding to inquiries and request.

Assist with other commercial operational functions as needed.

OPEX Machine Details :

This candidate will operate the OPEX Falcon

OPEX Falcon - mail opening machine that allows someone to be sitting down to manually open the mail

OPEX Falcon - sitting in front of machine, allows for more manual mail opening and manual mail sorting when utilized

Additional Skills & Qualifications :

Must Have :

• OPEX Falcon Machine Experience required
• Lockbox processing experience
• Mailroom experience
• Proficient with computers
• They need Falcon experience versus Eagle (the eagle is different - during the falcon you have to watch your screen and know when to push buttons, very much more hands on. the machine might have misreads and you need to know what is next).
• Ability to sit and utilize OPEX Falcon for most of the day.

Strong oral and written communication skills

Familiarity with regulations, policies, and procedures

Strong attention to detail in composing, typing and proofing materials, establishing priorities and meeting deadlines

High School diploma or equivalent.
