• Description : Pediatrix is seeking a dedicated and collaborative Pediatric Hospitalist Medical Director to lead our esteemed healthcare team at Ohio Health - a leading medical facility in Athens OH.Job Description : Medical Director to lead a team of 3 Pediatric HospitalistsNewborn nursery care with NICU support from Pediatrix Neonatologists24 / 7 on-call coverage round and go model with call from homePediatric Hospitalists will perform circumcisionsPediatric Consultations : Provide expert Pediatric consultations to the Emergency Department offering timely assessments recommendations and treatment plans for pediatric patients.Collaborative Teamwork : Work closely with a team of Pediatric Hospitalists and Neonatologists to provide coordinated and comprehensive care to patients fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.Continuous Quality Improvement CQI : The ability to participate in CQI initiatives and clinical research projects contributing to the enhancement of patient care outcomes and best practices.Knowledge Exchange : Take advantage of the opportunity to exchange ideas and best practices with a large network of Pediatrix providers including over 400 NICUs and several thousand providers.Not accepting Locums candidatesNot accepting visa candidatesNot open to commuters and / or those looking for secondary employmentNot accepting new graduate candidates - experience requiredCompensation and Benefits : Competitive salary range based on experience and training to be discussed at interview.
