Job Description :

We are partnering with a rapidly growing regional CPA firm based in Nashville, TN seeking a talented CPA with expertise in Mergers & Acquisitions and Transaction Advisory . This is a high-impact opportunity to work with a dynamic team advising middle-market clients on tax strategies related to business acquisitions, sales, and restructuring.

This position is ideal for a driven, relationship-focused tax professional who enjoys working with entrepreneurs, private equity firms, and growing businesses during critical transactions. Key Responsibilities :

Provide transactional tax advisory services related to mergers, acquisitions, entity restructuring, and sales

Conduct and review due diligence reports, quality of earnings, and tax exposure analyses

Structure tax-efficient deals for buyers and sellers

Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, collaborating directly with business owners, legal counsel, and internal teams

Lead or support transaction-related client engagements from planning through post-deal implementation

Mentor junior staff and support team development

Qualifications :

Active CPA license (required)

3+ years of public accounting experience, preferably with a regional CPA firm

Specialized knowledge in M&A tax, deal structuring, and due diligence

Strong technical skills and understanding of partnership, corporate, and individual tax implications

Experience managing or supervising engagements is a plus

Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

Ability to work independently while collaborating within a team
