Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed Retail Patrol in Everett, WA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail / Malls, and more.

As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal in a retail environment, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help maintain a secure atmosphere for all visitors and staff. Your visible presence will help to deter security-related incidents, while your approachable manner provides excellent customer service. This post involves driving responsibilities, so you will be tasked with patrolling both on foot and by vehicle. What You'll Do :

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support the well-being of the location.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
  • Observe and report any irregularities, such as property damage, theft, or suspicious behavior, to the appropriate personnel in accordance with Allied Universal protocols.
  • Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits as needed to help to deter unauthorized entry.
  • Collaborate with store management and / or law enforcement as required to address incidents or emergencies on site.
  • Complete detailed and accurate incident reports and daily activity logs as required by Allied Universal and client policies.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A valid driver's license is preferred for driving positions and must meet Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
