Overview

LABUR is supporting a client in the telecommunications sector through a strategic initiative aimed at enhancing enterprise wireless capabilities and private network deployments. This engagement addresses the growing complexity of integrating 4G / 5G technologies, managing vendor ecosystems, and securing private cellular environments. The Solution Architect will play a pivotal role in designing scalable, secure, and high-performance wireless solutions that support both enterprise and neutral host use cases.

Responsibilities

  • Architect and deliver end-to-end wireless solutions leveraging 4G (LTE) and 5G technologies in private network environments.
  • Design and optimize components across RAN, EPC, and 5G Core, ensuring alignment with network security best practices.
  • Evaluate and integrate private cellular spectrum options, including CBRS and licensed spectrum.
  • Lead technical engagements with vendors, managing relationships and ensuring delivery against performance and compliance benchmarks.
  • Translate complex technical concepts into actionable insights for cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and client leadership to align solution architecture with business objectives.
  • Contribute to strategic planning for enterprise wireless and neutral host deployments.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience as a Solutions Architect, Systems Engineer, or Technical Product Manager in telecommunications.
  • Deep, hands-on expertise in 4G (LTE) and 5G wireless technologies, particularly in private network environments.
  • Strong understanding of RAN, EPC, 5G Core, and network security principles.
  • Experience working with private cellular spectrum (CBRS, licensed spectrum).
  • Proven track record managing technology vendor relationships.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to distill and convey complex technical concepts.
  • Preferred : Experience with neutral host and enterprise wireless solutions or tenure at a major telecommunications service provider.
