Job Description

At Regions, the Client Solutions Trust Administrator – Private Wealth serves as trustee and advisor to existing client relationships with Trusts, Individual Retirement Accounts, Natural Resources and Real Estate, and Charitable Trusts.

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide guidance and solutions for the development and on-going administration and maintenance of clients' goals and objectives
• Stay informed of trends and developments in the trust industry to ensure prudent administration and investment management
• Understand complex trust agreements and manage accounts in compliance with Regions' capacity, legal, and regulatory guidelines
• Determine financial viability and associated risks of client business
• Understand multi-state trust statutes
• Conduct initial administrative and compliance reviews for clients
• Provide Portfolio Managers with documentation of non-standard asset reviews for Annual Investment reviews
• Support and documentation for the investment review exceptions clearance process
• Facilitate the non-discretionary distribution process
• Facilitate the discretionary distribution process with shared approval authority
• Prepare discretionary action requests for working group reviews, including termination, non-standard asset acceptance and retention, trust modifications, and real estate improvements
• Support fee setup and daily cash management
• Ensure all accounts comply with applicable internal procedures
• Act as an expert in trust administration that may include tax minimization strategies, 65-day elections or modifications, 5 x 5 powers, and Charitable Trust distribution percentages
• Coordinate client service activities with other areas of the organization
• Demonstrate solid knowledge of Regions' products and services, including retirement, investment management, and charitable giving
• Coordinate administrative functions with attorneys, co-trustees, investment advisors, and CPAs
• Ensure client activity is appropriately documented in OneView
• Ensure appropriate management of trust account assets with awareness of future potential depletion
• May manage complex client relationships

This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.

Factors affecting pay include experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location, and performance. The target information below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for the position location and level.

Job Range Target :

Minimum : $50,714.40 USD

Median : $68,550.00 USD

Incentive Pay Plans :

This job is not incentive eligible.
