job_description.job_card.job_descriptionProficient with application of programmable machine controls hardware and software PLC Experience with Safety Code Proficient with robotics Fanuc CRX experience Proficient with AutoCAD Proficient with Vision Systems Sick Keyance Matrox Familiar with basic electrical standards Familiar with robotic safety standards / systems DCS Proficient in leading project teams Bachelor\'s Degree in a Technical Field 5-7 Years of Experience Required Direct experience with integrating, installing, and / or debugging new robotic systems
Overview
The main function of this controls engineering position is to lead the integration, installation, and debugging of automation equipment.
Responsibilities
- Lead automation project that will involve (but are not limited to) : Collaborative Robotics; Vision Systems; Autonomous Mobile Vehicles; Other Automated Technologies
- Lead controls integration of new automation devices into existing systems utilizing : PLCs; HMIs; Plant Floor Systems; Facilities Equipment; Etc
- Lead the installation, debug, and start-up of automated equipment
- Lead the safety review and buy off process for automated equipment
- Provide technical support and training to on-site employees as part of new installations
- Support offsite equipment builds by attending reviews / buy-offs at equipment integrators
- Expect less than 10% travel
