ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Alexandria, Louisiana.

RN Position Job Notes :

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity : RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details :

  • Work on a 36-bed medical surgical telemetry unit on 3 South floor
  • Patient ratio of 6 : 1
  • Work with equipment including EKG machines, DynaMaps, bladder scanner, vein finder, and telemetry monitoring
  • Use Meditech EMR system for documentation
  • Perform typical procedures including heart catheterizations
  • Work with a team including charge nurse, RN / LPN mix nurses, patient care techs, and unit secretary
  • Float to all medical surgical telemetry floors as needed
  • Work every other weekend or 2 full weekends per month
  • Med Surg Tele experience required - candidates without this experience will not be considered
  • Meditech experience required
  • Time management and critical thinking skills preferred
  • Must maintain positive attitude and be friendly and helpful
  • Dress code requires ceil blue scrubs
