Overview

Greystone Law & Advisory Group, P.C. is seeking a Contract Attorney (Business & Employment Law). Greystone is a boutique firm built on trial-tested advocacy and strategic advisory, focusing on business litigation, labor & employment disputes (PAGA, wage & hour, discrimination / retaliation), and high-stakes advisory matters for executives, entrepreneurs, and creatives. This is an opportunity to work alongside a Harvard-trained, trial-tested attorney and gain hands-on experience in complex litigation, business strategy, and cutting-edge advisory work.

Responsibilities

  • Draft and respond to discovery (RFPs, RFAs, SROGs, deposition notices)
  • Conduct legal research and draft motions, briefs, and memoranda
  • Support hearings, mediations, and trial preparation
  • Review, analyze, and summarize contracts, policies, and evidence
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure deadlines and client goals are met

Qualifications

  • J.D. and admission to practice law in California (required)
  • 4+ years of experience in business or employment litigation (law firm or boutique setting preferred)
  • Strong legal writing and research skills; attention to detail a must
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects efficiently
  • Professionalism, responsiveness, and a team-oriented mindset
