The RN will provide direct patient care in a fast-paced environment, respond quickly to critical situations, and work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary care team to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes for all patients.\n\nThis position is ideal for nurses who excel under pressure, are passionate about emergency care, and want to make a difference every day.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n
- Perform patient assessments, identify urgent care needs, and initiate appropriate interventions.\n
- Utilize clinical judgment and critical thinking to evaluate and respond to changes in patient condition.\n
- Administer medications, monitor patient responses, and document all care accurately.\n
- Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and support staff to ensure coordinated care.\n
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and post-care instructions.\n
- Maintain compliance with hospital and regulatory safety standards.\n
- Assist in trauma, cardiac, respiratory, and other emergency cases as needed.\n
- Support departmental quality initiatives and participate in ongoing education to maintain skills and certifications.\n\nQualifications\n\nRequired : \n
- Associate degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited program\n
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license (active in Illinois)\n
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (current and valid)\n
- 1–3 years of Emergency Room (ER) experience\n\nPreferred : \n
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or current enrollment in a BSN program\n
- SANE certification and ability to participate in on-call rotation\n
- Prior experience with Level I or Level II trauma care\n\nBenefits\n
