Manufacturing Planner

You will be the Manufacturing Planner for the Manufacturing Planning team. Our team is responsible for driving inventory accuracy, aligning material supply with production demand, and ensuring seamless execution of make and customer-supplied material workflows.

As the Manufacturing Planner you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end planning process, from demand forecasting to material release, while acting as the central point of contact for any inventory-related issues.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to :

  • Investigate, analyze, and resolve inventory accuracy problems and work-order discrepancies.
  • Create, monitor, and distribute reports that track program performance and material status.
  • Coordinate material needs with expeditors and purchasing to meet production schedules.
  • Maintain and adjust manufacturing schedules in the ERP / MRP system to reflect real-time demand.
  • Communicate status updates and corrective actions to managers, directors, and customers.
  • Travel may be required.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must possess the ability to obtain a Secret clearance.

Basic Qualifications :

  • Make Planner experience, i.e. understanding of MRP / supply and demand management
  • Experience creating / maintaining manufacturing schedules
  • Proficient in ERP System and Microsoft Excel
  • This facility requires special access and selected candidate must be a US citizen
  • Desired Skills :

  • Written and verbal skills to effectively communicate with managers, directors, employees and customers
  • Demonstrated ability to ensure data integrity
  • Demonstrated ability to work well in both a team environment and alone
  • Deep understanding of ERP / MRP functionality
  • Adapt to ERP system upgrades or process changes
  • Security Clearance Statement : This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

    Clearance Level : Secret

  • Ability to Work Remotely : Onsite Full-time : The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
  • Work Schedules : Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
  • Schedule for this Position : 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
