Locums Bloomington, Illinois, Cardiac Electrophysiologist Job

Clinical Role : Locum Tenens opening

Seeking a board certified or truly board eligible Cardiac Electrophysiologist

Must hold an active Illinois medical license

Position Highlights :

Provide consistent coverage and support for a rapidly growing cardiac surgery and structural heart program

Coverage needed due to anticipated departure of current EP physician ensuring uninterrupted access to electrophysiology services

Mix of clinic, ambulatory procedures, and inpatient call coverage

EMR : EPIC

Responsibilities :

Deliver inpatient and outpatient EP services

Perform diagnostic and interventional procedures, including :

Pacemaker and ICD insertion, revision, replacement, and removal

Cardiac rhythm conversion

Electrophysiology studies and cardiac ablations

Watchman device implantation

Loop recorder implantation / removal

Consult on patients under hospitalist and ICU services

Collaborate in multidisciplinary care for cardiac surgery and structural heart patients
