Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP). CPR / BLS Certification (Required). Previous experience in a healthcare setting (e.g., hospital, SNF, outpatient).
Speech-Language Pathologist- Contract Role
Location : Rio Rancho, NM, 87124
Assignment Duration : 13 Weeks
Shift : 8 : 00 AM 4 : 30 PM
Guaranteed Hours : 35 hours per week
Weekly Pay Rate : $1,925 - $2,100; (Negotiable based on experience)
Responsibilities :
- Evaluate patients with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and evidence-based practice.
- Provide therapy to improve communication skills, cognitive-linguistic abilities, and swallowing function.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and families to coordinate care.
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers on communication and swallowing strategies.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with regulations and facility policies.
- Participate in discharge planning and provide recommendations for ongoing care or therapy.
