Registered Nurse Unit Manager Responsibilities You'll Love :

  • Supervise and lead a team of nursing staff to ensure the highest standards of care for residents.
  • Assess resident health conditions, develop individualized care plans, and monitor progress.
  • Provide direct nursing care, including medication administration and treatments as needed.
  • Collaborate with physicians, healthcare teams, and family members to coordinate patient care.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, as well as facility policies and procedures.
  • Mentor and train nursing staff, conduct performance evaluations, and promote professional development.
  • Handle staffing and scheduling to maintain adequate coverage and meet patient care needs.
  • Oversee resident care documentation and ensure accuracy and timeliness in charting.

    What We Look For :

  • Current, valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Delaware.
  • Previous nursing experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing setting.
  • Previous supervisory or management experience is preferred.
  • Strong clinical assessment, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
