HiFyve is hiring a Master Electrician in the manufacturing industry!
Shift : M-F Day Shift
Pay : $45-46 / hr
Location : Shakopee, Minnesota
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Receive and interpret verbal instructions, drawings, wiring diagrams, and specifications to determine material needs and appropriate repair or installation methods.
- Obtain and transport necessary tools and materials to work areas.
- Dismantle, inspect, repair, adjust, or replace faulty parts on motors, switches, control panels, generators, circuit breakers, and other electrical / electronic equipment within the plant.
- Plan and execute electrical / electronic work with thorough knowledge of electrical principles, wiring codes, material properties, and equipment operation.
- Reassemble, test, and adjust equipment to ensure safe and proper operation.
- Perform work on energized circuits as needed, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
- Measure, cut, bend, thread, and install conduit; install fittings, switches, controls, fixtures, and wiring.
- Connect electrical equipment for new installations, relocations, or temporary wiring for special operations.
- Perform miscellaneous tasks as required to support plant electrical needs.
Education Requirements
Must be a Minnesota State Licensed Master Electrician or a State Certified Electrician.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Extensive knowledge of electrical and electronic principles and equipment operation.Proficiency in reading and interpreting wiring diagrams, blueprints, and technical specifications.Strong troubleshooting and repair skills for electrical motors, control panels, switches, and related equipment.Familiarity with electrical wiring specification codes and safety regulations.Ability to work safely on energized circuits.Skilled in conduit installation and wiring methods.Physical ability to dismantle, install, and repair electrical apparatus in an industrial environment.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Good communication skills to understand instructions and coordinate with team members.
