Job Title – Intellectual Property Patent Litigation Paralegal
Company Location – New York City, NY; On-site, Full Time; Pay – 120k-160k, DOE; 3-days a week, Hybrid
Responsibilities
- Support patent litigation attorneys on cases from initial filing through trial and appeal.
- Multitask, manage, and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment where accuracy and high-quality work product are required.
- Manage large patent cases with experience in the claim construction phase and cases before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB).
- Handle patent cases filed in U.S. District Courts in California, Texas, Delaware, Massachusetts, and other jurisdictions.
- Apply knowledge of appeals before the Federal Circuit and experience with U.S. International Trade Commission (Section 337 Investigations).
Qualifications
A bachelor's degree or some college is preferred.At least 4+ years of IP Litigation Paralegal experience working in a law firm.Able to handle multiple projects while working independently in a fast-paced environment.Strong working knowledge of filing in P-TACTS, ECF Filing, USPTO Patent Center, and EDIS; Patent litigation experience managing large patent cases.Experience with the claim construction phase and cases before PTAB.An ABA-approved paralegal certification is required.Proficiency in Windows 10, Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat Pro, Zoom, and Teams; experience with a document management system.Excellent spelling, grammar, and punctuation skills.Strong attention to detail, ability to prioritize tasks, and excellent time management skills.Ability to work overtime, evenings, and weekends, as needed.Note : Updated resume is required for consideration.
