Summary

We are looking for an energetic and detail-oriented Steward / Prep to join our kitchen team at Oliver's. In this role, you'll play a vital part in keeping our kitchen running smoothly by ensuring cleanliness, organization, and assisting with food preparation tasks. This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about food and wants to gain valuable experience in a professional kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

Thoroughly wash, sanitize, and store all dishes, pots, pans, and kitchen utensils.

Maintain a clean and organized dishwashing area and back-of-house spaces.

Assist with basic food preparation tasks, such as chopping vegetables, portioning ingredients, and preparing simple dishes.

Stock and restock kitchen stations with necessary supplies.

Help maintain proper food storage and rotation practices.

Remove trash and recycling from the kitchen.

Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a kitchen setting is preferred, but not required.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.

Willingness to learn and take on new tasks.

Positive attitude and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
