Beacon Hill is actively seeking a Real Estate Attorney for a full-time, long-term contract opportunity with a top national AmLaw firm. This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly regarded legal team and work on sophisticated real estate matters in the homebuilder space. The position offers full-time hours, strong potential to extend, and the flexibility to work remotely within a state where the firm maintains an office.
The ideal candidate will have direct experience supporting homebuilder clients either in-house or at a law firm and a strong foundation in real estate transactions, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating related development and closing documents. Candidates should be proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple complex real estate matters in a fast-paced environment.
Key responsibilities and qualifications :
Draft purchase and sale agreements and lot contracts
Prepare closing documents and review title and survey matters
Draft homeowners association (HOA) and easement agreements
Handle other ancillary development documents
JD and active bar admission (North Carolina preferred; others considered)
Experience working with a homebuilder (law firm or in-house)
General real estate experience preferred
Available 35-40 hours per week (no concurrent work)
This is a full-time, remote contract opportunity with an anticipated start date as soon as possible. The initial duration is six months, with a possibility of extension.
This role offers an excellent opportunity for a real estate attorney with homebuilder experience to work with a leading AmLaw firm and expand their expertise in the real estate development space.
