Security Officer - Education Patrol Driver

As a Security Officer - Education Patrol Driver in Fulton, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at an educational location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help maintain a secure environment for students, staff, and visitors. Your visible presence will help to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service and communication. This role requires driving as part of your daily responsibilities. Pay Rate : $17.00 / Hour

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, responding appropriately to emergency situations as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
  • Observe and report suspicious activity, hazards, or maintenance needs within the facility.
  • Assist students, staff, and visitors by providing directions or information and supporting a welcoming environment.
  • Work collaboratively with other Allied Universal personnel and site representatives to address security-related concerns specific to an educational setting.
  • Complete detailed and accurate reports regarding incidents, observations, and daily activities as required by site policy.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Must have 1 or more years of law enforcement experience or 2 or more years of security supervisor or manager experience or 3 or more years of security-related experience.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
