We are currently seeking a Core Banking SME / Consultant to join our team in New Jersey, New Jersey (US-NJ), United States (US).

Job Description – Core Banking SME / Consultant

As a Core Banking SME / Consultant, within the Consulting Group, you will be responsible for engaging with clients across the stages of the Project Lifecycle – Requirements gathering, Mapping processes, Solution architecture & Design through to development, UAT and deployment. You should be a subject matter expert with 10 - 15 years of experience having worked on large Lending transformation projects. You will work closely with Client Business / IT team & internal development and Lending product Vendor teams.

Experience

Minimum Required Skills :

  • 10+ years in banking technology, with at least 5+ years as a Core Banking SME.
  • Platforms : Hands-on experience with one or more core banking platforms (e.g., nCIno, Temenos T24, Oracle Flexcube, Infosys Finacle, Avaloq, etc.).
  • Domain Knowledge : Deep understanding of core banking operations—retail banking, corporate banking, lending, deposits, payments, treasury, compliance, and regulatory reporting.
  • Technical Understanding : Familiarity with system architecture, data migration, integration frameworks, APIs, and cloud-based deployments.
  • Consulting Skills : Strong analytical, problem-solving, and solutioning capabilities with client-facing consulting experience.
  • Certifications (Preferred) : Agile / Scrum, PMP / Prince2, ITIL, or domain certifications in banking and financial services.

Preferred Skills :

  • Soft Skills : Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills; ability to influence and collaborate across business and IT teams
  • Good understanding of the banking domain, applicable Lending regulatory environment
  • Should be able to play a catalyst role between business and IT
  • Engineering + MBA degree is preferred
