Assistant Account Manager Job Description

Job Title : Assistant Account Manager

Department : Account Management

Reports To : Vice President

Summary

This position will provide essential administrative support for our Account Managers and Department Manager. This person will be detail-oriented and will thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment while ensuring timely and accurate completion of tasks.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Proofreading documents for accuracy.
  • Data entry and document management.
  • Copying, scanning, coordinating shipments for proofs and products.
  • Transporting materials between departments.
  • Providing excellent customer service with strong verbal and written communication.
  • Maintaining high attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Collaborating effectively in a team environment.
  • Assisting Account Managers with various tasks as needed.

  • This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

    • Education and / or Experience

  • Associate of Applied Science degree (A. A.) with a Business Administration or Office Professional focus preferred. Will also consider individuals nearing completion of this degree or will consider relevant experience in absence of a degree. Most importantly, if you have a great attitude and energy, we are willing to train the skills needed for the job.

  • This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

    • Position Type / Expected Hours of Work

  • This is a full time position. Some flexibility in hours is allowed, but the employee must be available during the “core” work hours of 8 : 00 a.m. to 5 : 00 p.m.
