Join Our Team at Tallahassee State College as a Part-Time Librarian with Information Literacy and Research . We’re looking for someone who shares our commitment to fostering a vibrant campus community.

What You’ll Do

  • Answering questions and assisting with research in person and by telephone and with other technologies.
  • Assisting library users in the use of print and on-line resources and in locating materials.
  • Responding to routine problems that library users may encounter with computers, printers, copiers, software and other technology.
  • Maintaining currency regarding reference, research, and database sources.
  • Performing other position specific functions as assigned.
  • Opening and closing the library, as needed.

Work Schedule : Monday – Friday; 20 – 25 hours per week. Hours of Operation : Monday – Thursday, 7 : 30 a.m. – 7 : 30 p.m. and Friday, 7 : 30 a.m. – 5 : 00 p.m.

Who We’re Looking For

  • Master of Library and Information Science Degree from an ALA-accredited institution or currently in school for a Master of Library Science or Master of Science Information Degree.
  • Some customer service and library experience preferred.

    We offer a competitive salary of $20.00 per hour (degree earned) and $19.00 per hour (degree in progress) .
