Travel Respiratory Therapist - $2,197 per week

Premier Medical Staffing Services is seeking a travel Respiratory Therapist for a travel job in Devils Lake, North Dakota.

Job Description & Requirements

• 3 years of Respiratory experience required
• Need previous travel experience
• Required Certifications : BLS, ACLS, RRT or CRT, ND state lic
• Preferred Certifications : NRP, PALS
• MUST HAVE NICU / PEDS EXPERIENCE TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION
• Shifts : 3x12s, 6a-6p, EOW + Call
• Every other weekend, flexible could be less
• Expected to work some, not all holidays during contract
• Call response time : 20 minutes
• Floating Requirements : Only within the same hospital
• Potential for block scheduling & some flexibility
• RTO needed upfront (7 or less days per 13 week contract)
• Additional RTO will not be approved, including after submissions
• Types of patients : Mostly adults, newborns, and ER all ages, traumas, do not keep many peds in the hospital
• Job Duties : Days - ER EKGs, Nights RN to do EKG (should not get called in for that), ABGs, more autonomous with respiratory care plans and treatment plans
• MUST Set up the vents (CRNA on call, RT is not usually intubating) and maintain vents, manage treatments
• Bipap and Cpap for newborn and adults
• Will keep vents if cannot ship out and hospitalist okay to medically manage, usually weather dependent
• Critical Access
