JOB TITLE : Aircraft Interior Technician
REPORTS TO : Production Supervisor

SUMMARY :
Under close supervision, make repairs to airline seats and subassemblies and / or to Monuments : Lavatories, Galleys and other interior components according to specifications and blueprints.
JOB FUNCTIONS :
- Repair aircraft seating, including passenger and crew seats.
- Repair interior monuments (galleys, lavatories, and class dividers), overhead bins, and side walls.
- Disassemble components, determine malfunctions & make repairs
- Read inspection reports & rework instructions
- Read blueprints to determine the type of repair, tools required, and to plan the sequence of operations.
- Read Schematics
- Sheet metal fabrication to drawings
- Composite and laminate repairs.
- Reassemble components to meet company, customer,r and FAA standards.
- Accurately read and follow schematics / blueprints and work orders.
- Use bonding materials, fillers, and compounds to make repairs
- Plumbing repair
- Read and understand blueprints, CMM & IPCs
- Painting
- Surface preparation
- As Necessary, performs other related duties of which the above are representative.
