Description
ADDMAN is seeking a CMM Programmer Operator to join the Quality Team. This is an exciting position that plays a key role in ensuring production parts meet customer requirements using CMM equipment and software. This person will assist in performing visual and dimension inspections to ensure that all product meets customer specifications and requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Measure key part characteristics with CMM equipment
- Perform CMM programming, setup, and analysis of both in process and finished products
- Work with engineering and programming teams to troubleshoot parts
- Perform first piece production inspection and provide feedback
- Document findings and develop planning for jobs
- Train others on CMM operation and appropriate methods
- Check and verify machined component dimensions using measuring devices to blueprints
- Communicate effectively with machinist, operators, and management to maintain acceptable quality standards
- Maintain and generate all required quality documentation including inspection and discrepancy reports
- Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned or requested

ITAR REQUIREMENTS :
This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person citizenship status.

2 year technical degree and / or 2 years shop floor machining2 years shop Floor machining and / or 6 months Quality Inspection in machine shop environmentAble to operate a CMM, including choosing appropriate tools and inspecting parts with minimal supervisionPreferred experience with PC DMIS CMM softwareKnowledge of GD&T and general blueprint interpretationWORK ENVIRONMENT :
