Position Summary

Management of the day-to-day Manufacturing Engineering operation at the plant level. Development and implementation of required plant projects, including Lean Enterprise initiatives.

Scope / Supervision and Interaction :

Reports to the Plant Manager. Manager will have supervision over Manufacturing Engineers and Manufacturing Production Technicians that are in the plant. Manages department resources and interacts routinely with all functional areas as well as with customers, field sales, regulatory agencies, division / group / corporate management, and suppliers.

Responsibilities

Works with cross-functional leadership teams, including design, quality, and supply chain, in support of manufacturing process improvements. Ensures compliance with all safety regulations and company policies in the manufacturing process.

Accountable for productivity and quality metrics and provides progress reports to management and cross-functional stakeholders.
