Clerk III, Health Information Management Department
The Department of Health Information Management at the University of Iowa Health Care is seeking a full-time, Clerk III. This position will be responsible for medical record activities with primary duties to include performing qualitative analysis of patient medical records upon inpatient discharge, collecting data for monthly "Documentation Status Report", scanning / uploading internal and external documents into Epic, QA documents, performing daily statistics and scanning audits and processing MyChart requests.
This position location is in Coralville, IA and eligible to participate in remote work. Remote work must be performed at an offsite location within the State of Iowa. Training will be held ONSITE at the Health Care Support Services (HSSB) building at a length determined by the supervisor. Remote eligibility will be evaluated upon a satisfactory job training and meeting required performance standards. Successful candidates must comply with requirements of the remote work program and related policies. Per policy, work arrangements will be reviewed annually, and must comply with the remote work program and related policies and employee travel policy when working at a remote location.
