Plumbing Apprentice’s Job Description

The Plumbing Apprentice’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to assisting in properly and accurately estimating, installing, replacing, troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing, and / or testing the following :

  • Water piping systems
  • Gas piping systems
  • Sanitary sewer piping systems
  • Tub / shower / faucet internal mechanisms including cartridges, washers, springs, etc.
  • Faucets
  • Gas and water valves
  • Gas and water supply lines
  • Gas risers
  • Gas yard lines
  • Tub / shower valves
  • Tub / shower trim
  • Tub faucets
  • Sink drain assemblies including disposals
  • Tub basket strainers
  • Kitchen sinks
  • Hose bibbs
  • Toilets
  • Yard leaks / breaks
  • Sanitary sewer yard lines
  • Sanitary sewer and potable water slab leaks
  • Toilet flanges
  • Gas and electric tank water heaters
  • Gas and electric tankless water heaters
  • Hot water recirculation systems
  • PRV & valve boxes
  • Boiler drains

    • Plumbing Apprentice Job Requirements

    The Plumbing Apprentice should possess the following experience, skills, characteristics, abilities, and licensing :

  • Valid Texas driver's license with a clean driving record
