Responsibilities
- Communicate all kitchen issues with management throughout the day.
- Read and write notes in the manager's daily log in English.
- Attend weekly manager's meetings and monthly staff meetings.
- Read the weekly memo.
- Complete weekly / monthly employee evaluations.
- Communicate with all m.o.d. when shift is completed.
- Provide accurate and honest reports of all events, positive and negative.
- Follow all policies, rules, and directions in manuals, memos, and meetings.
- Attend quarterly supervisor meetings.
Qualifications
Current food management certification.Ownership mentality.Flexibility for scheduling; Flanigan's is open 365 days per year.Willingness to transfer geographically.Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.Vacations scheduled between April and November; must be taken or forfeited.Experience in ordering and formulating pars.Basic math skills : ability to count currency, make change, and use a calculator.Basic computer skills.Understanding of health code standards.Adherence to hiring policies; conduct interviews promptly.Ability to issue written evaluations for performance.Good eyesight, clear speech, attentive listening, taste, and smell.Ability to read and write English.Physical stamina to stand, move at a moderate pace for up to 4 hours, and work 50-55 hours per week.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.Ability to bend, stoop, squat, or crawl.Coordination to operate kitchen equipment.Adherence to dress and grooming policies.Benefits
