Warehouse Associate

Shift / Hours :  Monday - Friday 7 : 00 AM - 4 : 00 PM

Pay Rate :  $18 / hr

Location :  Houston, TX 77011

Experience :  2-4 Years

Warehouse Associate Job Summary :

Perform an array of functions that may include receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, or managing, organizing, and retrieving stock in the warehouse.

Warehouse Associate Duties and Responsibilities Qualifications :

• Assist shipping and receiving unloading trucks and checking in merchandise
• Assist load / unloading containers, and all trucks (including flatbed trucks)
• Sort and place material or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to organizational standards
• Experience using a pallet jack, hand truck, and / or forklifts
• Maintains a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and work stations neat; sweep, dust and mop. Organize warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times
• Wear the proper safety equipment at all times
• Any other duties as requested by the respective supervisor and / or manager
• Must be willing to submit to a background check and drug screen
