Position Overview :

Hearing Doctors of Georgia is seeking a licensed Hearing Instrument Specialist (HIS) to join their Stockbridge team. This role focuses on hearing aid dispensing and patient counseling, with minimal diagnostics.

The ideal candidate is personable, professional, and confident in recommending and fitting hearing aids. They enjoy building long-term relationships with patients and thrive in a collaborative, patient-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities :

Conduct hearing screenings and audiometric evaluations within the scope of HIS licensure.

Recommend, fit, and program hearing aids based on patient needs and lifestyle.

Provide ongoing hearing aid maintenance, troubleshooting, and follow-up care.

Educate patients and their families on hearing aid use, care, and expectations.

Maintain accurate and timely patient records and documentation.

Partner with team members to ensure high-quality care and patient satisfaction.

Requirements

Active Hearing Instrument Specialist license in Georgia (or eligibility to obtain).

Previous experience with hearing aid fitting and patient counseling preferred.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Self-motivated, compassionate, and service-oriented.
