Responsibilities / Requirements
Responsibilities :
- Conduct multiple types of complex claims investigations
- Submit daily updates on case progress
- Manage time effectively
- Maintain sufficient client billable hours
- Write and record detailed statements
- Conduct scene investigations
- Submit professional, client-ready investigative reports
- Perform background / activity checks and courthouse research
- Drive safely and stay alert while on the road
Requirements :
Licensed or eligible for Private Investigator license in Georgia and surrounding statesAt least 1 year of full-time report writing experience in field investigationsExperience with face-to-face statements in investigationsWillingness to travel within a multi-state areaExperience with product, auto, general liability claims, Workers Compensation, disability, life insurance, and death claimsFlexible with working irregular hours, including nights and weekendsReliable vehicle with auto liability insurancePossess or willing to purchase digital recording device and Windows-compatible laptop with Microsoft WordEducational / Experience Qualifications :
Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice or related fieldExperience as Private Investigator or detectiveMilitary or Law Enforcement backgroundKnowledge of insurance law and underwritingSelf-motivated and accountableDetail-oriented and committed to accuracyAble to work under stressful and sensitive situationsTyping speed of 50+ words per minuteBenefits
