The City Voices Social Planner is responsible for designing, organizing, and executing free and engaging social events and activities for people with mental health challenges in NYC. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the unique needs of this community and a passion for creating safe, fun, and inclusive spaces that promote connection and well-being.

Key Responsibilities

• Event Planning : Develop a calendar of diverse events and activities, including art workshops, community outings, social gatherings, and recreational groups.
• Logistics Management : Handle all event logistics, from securing venues and materials to managing RSVPs and day-of coordination.
• Community Building : Actively engage with members to understand their interests and needs, ensuring events are tailored and relevant.
• Partnership Coordination : Forge relationships with local businesses, cultural institutions, and community organizations to expand event offerings and resources.
