The Quality Engineering Team has a great opportunity for a Quality / Data Control Analyst supporting our Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) Quality Program in Cape Canaveral, FL, Eastern Range Facility.
The Quality / Data Control Analyst will support the Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) Quality Program in Cape Canaveral, FL, Eastern Range Facility. The Quality Analyst ensures the conformance to company and regulatory standards. Initiates, reviews, analyzes and reports on quality-related data / metrics from production, service, supplier or process improvement activities and analyzes using statistical techniques. Interfaces as needed with manufacturing, engineering, customer, vendor and subcontractor representatives to ensure process requirements are met. Supports the development of disposition and corrective actions for recurring product / process discrepancies for both make and buy items. Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following :
- Leading corrective action meetings and collaborating with teams to identify trends and resolve problems
- Maintaining data systems that record compliance and discrepancy documentation
- Perform audits, track audit findings, and status for closure
- Trend quality metrics and support problem solving activities related to reporting
- Developing and maintaining records in support of sales completion and delivery of missile hardware to the customer.
- Assisting in collection and data analysis for technical investigations to support missile assembly, test, and integration, and various support areas.
- Attending meetings, leading and participating in team assignments, special projects, and Continuous Improvement events
- Working with various data systems to perform quality analysis tasks.
- Using sound judgment and discretion in completing assignments

Basic Qualifications : To be effective, ideally, you should have :
Bachelor degree from an accredited college in Economics, Engineering, Data Analytics or other related degree, or equivalent experience / combined education,Must be able to perform in a team and customer-focused work environment, maintaining effective communication with internal / external customers.Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and meet deadlinesExperience creating Tableau dashboards, SAP / ERP, and sharepoint experienceExperience with data mining, entry, and trendingExperience with data analytics to report trends and achieve results, drive improvements and efficienciesPrevious experience, interpreting and applying contractual and AS9100 / ISO90001 requirementsDepartment of Defense or Aerospace experienceKnowledge of working at all levels of organization to identify and drive systemic root cause and corrective action utilizing quantitative, qualitative analytical capabilities.Proficiency in use of Microsoft Office applicationsExperienced with research and analysis of quality reporting metrics, charts, and documentationYou will need to be a US Citizen, (no dual citizens), and be able to obtain and maintain a US DoD TOP SECRET clearance, to support this government contract, as well as successfully pass a drug and background check, in order to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
