Position : IT Support Technician

Department : IT

Job Type : Full-time, Onsite

Schedule : Must be flexible for all shifts

Pay : $21–$26 / hr (based on experience)

Location : Arlington, TX 76011

Job Summary :

Regal Staffing Services is seeking a skilled IT Support Technician to support the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) and ensure minimal production downtime. This role works closely with MES, ERP, SCADA, IoT, and computer systems to maintain seamless operations. The ideal candidate will collaborate with IT, automation, and production teams to prevent disruptions and help maximize efficiency and profitability.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Provide operational support to production lines and resolve MES or IT hardware issues to reduce downtime.
  • Support projects deploying MES applications to new production lines and test new system features.
  • Maintain and track MES assets and manage new equipment deployments.
  • Ensure proper documentation and approvals for process changes or deviations.

Required Qualifications & Skills :

Education & Experience :

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience with MES and industrial IT systems.

    • Technical Skills :

  • Troubleshooting and installation of desktops, laptops, printers, and barcode scanners.
  • Basic understanding of MES software and production process flow.
  • Network troubleshooting (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP).
  • Windows client application installation and troubleshooting.
  • Vendor coordination for MES integration with machines (cameras, welders, etc.).
  • Experience resolving Windows patch or antivirus update issues.

    • Soft Skills :

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills and teamwork across departments.

    • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Basic knowledge of MSSQL database.
  • Experience integrating PLCs or SCADA systems.
  • Knowledge of automation using sensors and PLCs.
