CRNA opportunity to join a supportive care team at Crouse Health Hospital in Syracuse, NY, in an area ideal for outdoor exploration!

Description

Crouse Hospital is located in Syracuse, New York Crouse Hospital offers a variety of cases and sites, centrally located within a one block radius from one another. Crouse includes the main hospital and 3 ASC’s. You will find a collegial anesthesia environment as well as supportive working relationships with the surgeons and OR staff. Excellent Anesthesia Tech support and Pre-Op Testing Center.

Case Assignments

General, OB / GYN, Bariatrics, Robotics, Ortho, Spine, Crani’s, Thoracic, Vascular, Urology / Renal, ENT, Eyes, Plastics, Podiatry, Endo, EP / Cath Lab, Healthy Peds

Shifts

Current open shifts are 8, 10, and 12 hour shifts. Call is voluntary and not required. Post-call day off. Additional pay for call is offered.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Pre-anesthesia assessment
• Obtains and / or verifies patient consent
• Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient
• Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
• Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition
• Performance of clinical intervention as needed

CRNA’s are encouraged to work to full scope including regional anesthesia.
