We're looking for a dedicated Tree Trimmer to perform skilled work in maintaining, pruning, and removing trees on public and private property to reduce hazards and enhance the City's landscape.

This role plays a key part in ensuring that our parks, streets, and public spaces remain safe and inviting for everyone. The ideal candidate will have experience with tree trimming tools and equipment, strong attention to safety, and a commitment to high-quality work.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements :

Requires High School graduation or GED equivalent supplemented by one (1) year of experience in the Arboriculture Industry; or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities. Possession of a valid Florida state commercial driver's license, Class B preferred or able to attain within 365 days and an acceptable driving history.

Language Ability : Ability to read a limited number of two- and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers. Ability to print and speak simple sentences. Reasoning : Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
