- Job Summary
- ### This position is responsible for directing the Medicaid pharmacy operations team and responsible for analyzing and optimizing the operational metrics, productivity and program requirements. Direct and manage the ongoing assessment and program maintenance updates for the Medicaid pharmacy operations program. In addition, assess, direct and manage to the compliance of the program requirements as required by the applicable state Medicaid or Medicare requirements. Manage the preparation and readiness for on-going audits. Represent the department to internal and external areas including government agencies and audit vendors. Lead enterprise Medicaid operational and clinical programs.###
- JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Registered Pharmacist with current, valid license in the state of operations.
- 4 years of experience in pharmacy.
- Strong leadership skills including working through others and training skills.
- Analytical skills including translating business needs into technical requirements.
- Verbal and written communication skills including interpersonal skills to direct team, work across internal departments and represent the company to external agencies.
- Negotiation and problem-solving skills.
- Overseeing the annual budget and allocating resources for various projects and operational needs.
- Translating needs and initiatives into compelling business cases.
- Conducting cost-benefit analyses to justify investments and ensure ROI.
- PREFERRED JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Knowledge of Medicaid and / or Medicare health plan and PBM operations.
- Additional degrees or credentials outside the pharmacy area (such as an MBA).
- 3 years of supervisory or management experience in a Pharmacy environment including managing a budget.### ###

- Base Pay Range
