Job Summary :
The Business Development Center Supervisor will be responsible for supporting, engaging and motivating Business Development Representatives in driving BDC objectives.
Supervisory Responsibilities :
Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains new staffOversees the daily workflow of the departmentProvides constructive, real-time coaching and feedback using call reviews and current sales techniques and completes annual performance evaluationsSupport peer to peer learningHandles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policyEssential Functions : Duties and Responsibilities :
Support the BDC Team in performing the following responsibilities :Train BDRs on calling methodology and usage of CRM toolsReview and tailor Marketing messaging through calling scripts and email cadencesSet appointments with prospects meeting our 'initial customer profile' player / coach roleRespond to inbound & outbound interest to qualify leadsInspect CRM utilization to ensure prospect communications are documentedSupport deployment of overall lead generation strategy by executing purposeful experiments & analyzing results for improvementPartner with marketing, product and technology departments to execute lead generation strategy as the company introduces enhancements to existing solutionsExhibit strong knowledge of competitor products and capabilities along with general market trendsPartner with Sales Support Coordinator to document daily BDC activities in sales force automation tool, prepare accurate reports and forecasts, manage pipeline and perform other tasks necessary to drive sales revenue and communicate activities to sales managementReport on and achieve sales metrics and KPIs to drive business successRequired Skills / Abilities :
Strong communication skills and ability to engage potential prospects with goal of setting appointments for the Sales teamDemonstrated experience leading high performing BDR, Inside Sales or outbound customer service teamsA sales technologist who prides themselves in knowing the platform inside and out as well as the competitive landscapeAn enthusiastic 'roll up your sleeves' mentality and ability to deal effectively with ambiguity and thrive in an unstructured, fast-moving environmentStrong Microsoft Office skills and experience with internet-based systemsStrong experience in SalesforceEducation and Experience :
A minimum of three 3 years of experience leading BDR / Inside Sales teams, with an emphasis in payments, banking or other areas of the Fintech industry. A Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field preferred. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be consideredExperience with payment (i.e. commercial cards) / fintech or tech / SaaS B2B services requiredProven experience in sales, Inside Sales and / or Business Development Representative roleExperience in high volume sales to small businessPhysical Requirements :
