Ian's pizza Garver is on Madison's Near-East Side near Olbrich Botanical Gardens in the Atwood neighborhood. You can grab an Ian's slice, salad, Calliope ice cream, or local beer on tap inside of Garver Feed Mill , a unique newly renovated historic building turned artisan mecca.

• Minimum Guaranteed Wage of $16 / hour : At the end of the pay period, if your base wage ($12.50 / hour + $2 / hour additional for any time after 10pm) and tips have not averaged to at least $16 / hour, we will pay the rest. You are guaranteed to earn at least $16 / hour minimum, but you can earn more than that! Most cooks average $17.50-$22 / hour . Tips are paid at the end of each shift, and all other wages are paid on your paycheck (biweekly).

Position Expectations

Impress your friends and family with your pizza-making skills! From, stretching dough to topping and baking, we'll teach you everything you need to know to make one heck of a pizza pie.

You'll help with prep and keep the kitchen running smoothly. Working alongside an awesome team when things get busy, you'll have plenty of support to keep things fun and manageable.

As you progress, you'll be asked to stretch and top faster and participate in dough and cheese prep. We have a cook training and raise program that will support you in your growth and development!

Oh, and let's not forget about the tips! They'll have you rolling in dough (pun absolutely intended). If you're ready to join a crew that works hard, laughs a lot, and makes ridiculously good pizza, we'd love to have you!

Scheduling and Availability

Garver (4231 Garver Green) is currently open Monday-Thursday 11am-9pm, Friday 11am-10pm, Saturday 10am-10pm, Sunday 10am-9pm. Opening shifts typically start 1-2 hours before opening, and closing shifts typically end 1-2 hours after closing.

Our restaurants are most busy on evenings and weekends, so availability for these shifts is strongly preferred. If you are looking for full-time hours, your availability should be mostly open and flexible.

Part-time (anywhere in the 15-30 hours a week range) or full-time (30-40 hours a week) is available. We'll try our hardest to give you the hours and shifts you want, but we can't promise the same schedule or number of hours every week. For full-timers, we'll make sure you average 30-40 hours each week to ensure your health and dental benefits eligibility.
