Aerospace Buyer

Our client, an industry leader in aerospace manufacturing and supply chain solutions, is seeking a dedicated Aerospace Buyer to join their dynamic team. As an Aerospace Buyer, you will be an integral part of the procurement department supporting various teams involved in high-precision manufacturing. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong negotiation skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a proactive approach to supplier management, which will align successfully within the organization.

Location : Tempe, AZ

Pay Range : $31.14 plus OT and benefits

What's The Job?

  • Identify and evaluate potential suppliers and vendors to meet organizational needs.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers to optimize costs and quality.
  • Manage purchase orders and track shipments to ensure timely delivery of materials.
  • Conduct market research to stay informed on industry trends and sourcing strategies.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to define purchasing needs and specifications, ensuring alignment with project goals.

What's Needed?

  • Previous experience as a Buyer or in a similar procurement role within aerospace or manufacturing sectors.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills to build effective supplier relationships.
  • Knowledge of supply chain management and procurement best practices.
  • Familiarity with vendor evaluation and sourcing strategies.
  • Ability to analyze costs and manage budgets effectively.
