INNOVA People is seeking a local contract Pharmacist for a local contract job in Mauston, Wisconsin.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Pharmacist Staff – Retail Pharmacy ensures medications are procured, prepared, dispensed, and administered safely and legally.

Monday-Friday 8am-6pm or 9am-7pm & every 3rd Saturday 8am-1pm

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES

  • ? Proficient in pharmacy practice including but not limited to the following areas :

    • a. Retail dispensing

    b. Home health aids

  • ? Performs other related prescription activities such as taking verbal prescriptions, filling of prescriptions, dispensing and verbal consultation.
  • ? Performs and / or supervises pharmaceutical compounding activities.
  • ? Provides clinical pharmacy services, including medical history collection, therapeutic drug monitoring, pharmacokinetic dosing consultations, drug information and education.
  • ? Participates in and follows standards of departmental quality control and quality assurance programs.
  • ? Oversees inventory control activities such as monitoring inventory levels, ordering, receiving, stocking and shipping.
  • ? Supervises pharmacy interns and technicians.
  • ? Willingly follows and supports all policies and procedures required under Medicare Accreditation.
  • ? Input and process prescriptions
  • ? Correct prescriptions
  • ? Counsel patients
  • ? Administer vaccines.
  • ? Perform other related duties as needed.

    • REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS –  Required qualifications to effectively perform job. An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience will be considered.

  • ? Professional Pharmacy degree required. Doctorate preferred.
  • ? Wisconsin Pharmacist license required  or  temporary Wisconsin Pharmacist license required while obtaining active Pharmacist license that must be obtained within 60 days of receiving temporary license.
  • ? Must hold and maintain Wisconsin Pharmacist license.
  • ? BLS certification required.
  • ? 1+ years related work experience required.
