Job Summary

The Strategy team is focused on providing broad, strategic vision for Interstate Batteries organization and identifying and evaluating new growth initiatives. The Manager, Strategy will act as an influential leader providing strategic and analytical direction to the Commercial organization.

The Manager, Strategy will lead a high-impact team of 2-3 direct reports and oversee key initiatives within the Commercial team while delivering business recommendations to executive leadership.

He / She will be responsible for conducting analyses, synthesizing key insights, and providing practical recommendations which inform decision-making across the organization. The role will also lead various strategic projects with responsibility of gathering cross-functional alignment, executing, and monitoring progress of each project.

This role will have direct accountability for key business areas : Channel & Route-to-Market Development, Competitive Portfolio Strategy, Commercial Development and Strategy.

Job Components

Channel & Route-to-Market Development

• Provide channel / customer segmentation and analysis to Commercial leadership, analyzing across volume, growth potential, and other key characteristics
• Collaborate and assist Commercial leadership with executing channel strategies; provide performance management indicators on effectiveness
• Manage and communicate actionable insights that enable commercial growth objectives developed through customer trend analysis, competitive intelligence, and industry research
