About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Shift : 7 PM - 7 AM

Hours per Shift : 12 hours

Experience : Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience required

License : Indiana or compact RN license required

Certifications : BLS, ACLS, NRP, STABLE required

Must-Have :

• 2+ years of Labor and Delivery experience
• BLS through AHA required
• ACLS required from AHA
• NRP required

Description :

Provide care for laboring patients.

Perform nursing duties during vaginal and cesarean deliveries.

Utilize equipment such as EPIC Stork documentation and Centricity fetal monitoring system.

Employ Pyxis medication system for medication administration.

Work in a unit with 16 labor delivery recovery rooms.

Maintain a nurse to patient ratio of 1 : 1, possibly 1 : 2 for early labor or induction.

Participate in a unit-specific training and orientation program consisting of two 12-hour labor shifts.

Work collaboratively with a shift nurse lead and approximately seven other Labor and Delivery RNs.

No floating to other units or departments is required.

Work every third weekend with no call requirement.

Follow a dress code of hospital-provided scrubs.
