Clerk / Treasurer Position
Nestled in the heart of the Mesabi Iron Range, the City of Buhl, Minnesota seeks a Clerk / Treasurer to provide executive leadership and collaborate with our elected officials to serve our community. Key responsibilities include :
- Plan and direct city operations and services
- Develop budgets, pursue grant opportunities, and ensure fiscal responsibility
- Serve as liaison between council, staff, and residents
- Prepare council agendas / minutes and maintain official records
- Oversee staff hiring, training, and evaluation across all departments
- Lead strategic planning initiatives
