Description

McFarland Clinic is currently accepting applications for CMA / LPN / RN for its West Ames office. Candidates should be service-oriented, a team player, and be able to provide extraordinary care, every day to our patients.

Responsibilities include : rooming patients, assisting provider in exam rooms, assisting provider with in-office procedures, patient phone call triage, stocking rooms, obtaining prior authorizations as needed for medications, surgeries and imaging. Education

Graduate from an accredited school of nursing

Graduation from an accredited program for Medical Assistants.

Certification / License

Certification from the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) or certification as a Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) from American Medical Technologists (AMT), NAHP, NCCT, NHA

Possession of State License Practical Nursing.

Possession of State Registered Nurse license.

Current Basic Life Support certification for Health Care Providers.

Days : PT Hours - Tuesday - Thursday

Hours : 7 : 30AM - 5 : 00 PM.

Experience

Previous ambulatory care experience in Dermatology a plus

Experience with scribe a plus

EMR experience preferred.

Pre-employment drug screen and criminal history background checks are a condition of hire.
