Mechanical Engineer - Building Systems Design

Key Responsibilities :
- Develop mechanical drawings and specifications for building systems.
- Design and optimize HVAC systems, boilers, chillers, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
- Perform engineering investigations and facility assessments to evaluate system performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Conduct economic analyses of alternate HVAC systems and provide data-driven recommendations.
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and regulations.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate electrical, BIM, renewable energy, and energy conservation solutions into projects.
- Utilize AutoCAD and REVIT software to produce high-quality design documents.
- Stay updated on the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices, including LEED certification and energy auditing principles.
- Occasionally travel for project-related activities, typically for durations of no longer than one week.
Qualifications :
Bachelor's Degree (BS) in Mechanical Engineering.Professional Engineer (PE) License preferred.5–10 years of professional experience in mechanical engineering design, particularly in HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.Proficiency in AutoCAD; familiarity with REVIT is highly desirable.Knowledge of industry standards, codes, and practices.LEED Certification or Certified Energy Auditor / Manager credentials are a plus.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on energy efficiency and sustainability.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Why Join Us?
