Responsibilities

We are seeking an attorney to join our Energy Department with flexibility to work out of Bismarck, Fargo, Des Moines, Madison, or Minneapolis offices, focusing on oil and gas title examination. You will :

• Examine title records and determine ownership of surface, mineral, and leasehold interests in multiple tracts of land
• Research and analyze complex title issues and draft complex title opinions
• Work on oil & gas and renewable energy projects, with emphasis on oil and gas title examination
• Collaborate with a spectrum of clients including oil and gas operators, renewable energy developers, independent power producers, and utilities
