Position : Certified Electronic Reporter (CER)

Location : Tampa, FL

Jamison (“Jamison”) is seeking a qualified and motivated professional for the position of Certified Electronic Reporter.

Court Reporter - Functions, Qualifications, and Skills :

• Provide Certified Electronic Reporter support services (remote and / or in-person). Willingness to travel for in-person requests is required.
• Support services may be delivered via telephone, VTEL, VANTS, or Lync online services.
• Digital reporters are not required to produce transcripts of proceedings.
• The CER will read portions of transcripts during investigation hearings upon request and clarify inaudible statements.
• Availability to continue assignments if proceedings extend beyond one day is necessary.
• All travel expenses for outside-area assignments are covered by the company.
• Arrive at designated locations at least 30 minutes prior to hearings; for telephonic hearings, contact the presiding official 30 minutes before start.
• Must be a licensed Notary Public, capable of administering oaths, and carry Notary Public Errors and Omissions Insurance.
• Post-assignment, recordings must be securely sent via our VPN portal.
• Certification must comply with state laws where services are performed; proper certification must be available upon request.
• This is a position for on-demand services, not full-time employment.
• A background check, including Tier One NACI and SAC, may be required.
• You may work outside of assigned contracts as long as it does not interfere with commitments to Jamison.
• Employment benefits include paid federal holidays, PTO (based on hours worked), sick hours, and optional 401(k) enrollment.
• Hourly pay rate is to be determined.

Exceptional court reporters with certifications from NCRA, NVRA, or AAERT are encouraged to apply. Certification must be provided upon request.

U.S. Citizenship : Must pass a federal background check.
