Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
We are seeking a licensed Pharmacist for a Long-Term Care setting in Sulphur Springs, TX. This is a day shift role with flexible scheduling options.
Responsibilities :
Review and evaluate medication orders for appropriateness, dosage, route, interactions, geriatric considerations, and potential adverse reactions.
Ensure accuracy of filled medications and maintain proper documentation per state / federal regulations.
Conduct audits of automated dispensing machines.
Provide clinical expertise and respond to medication-related questions.
Support and oversee pharmacy technicians and staff.
Follow guidelines for pounding, including IV therapy.
Participate in pliance and quality improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications :
Bachelors degree in Pharmacy or PharmD from an accredited program.
Active, unrestricted Texas Pharmacist License .
Long-Term Care pharmacy experience.
Proficiency or willingness to train in FrameworkLTC software.
Strong knowledge of federal and state regulations governing pharmacy practice.
Preferred Skills :
Experience supervising or directing pharmacy technicians.
Familiarity with pounding and IV therapy standards.
